These two fighting styles are significant skills that a MMA fighter usually has. i love Muay thai power kneeing and elbowing. I like Brazilian jujitsu's submission holds. Which one do you prefer?
Jiujitsu all the way baby!
In a purist stylistical analysis, Jiujitsu is the best for contact fighting. 90% of actual fights go to the ground, and that where Jiujitsu lives.
Though I would definitely love a combination of both. Muay Thai compliments jiujitsu. You won't mind throwing kicks and getting take downed if you are a sound Jiujitsu guy, so it promotes striking and kicking, as what Mir does now. Doesn't mind the take down since he is a jiujitsu guy by base.
