Most impressive things in sports?
Just the 19th pitcher in MLB history threw a perfect game.  An incredible feat!

What is the most impressive feat in sports.....

Golf
Hole in one, getting through Q School, Winning the Grand Slam
NFL
 SuperBowl, rushing record
MLB
No hitter, Perfect game
NBA
Tripple double, Anything Jordan did
Horse Racing
 Tripple Crown

So many other sports out there i just wanted to throw out a few.  I am interested to read what yall think.

I tend to lean on pitchng a no hitter is one of the most amazing thing in sports but what I don't really like is the fact that there is only congrats to the pitchers ... what about the outfielder that made a diving catch to keep his no hitter alive? that insane reach out play to save a double or triple by the third baseman? These guys are almost all forgotten in this situation ... I know the pitchers had to pitch tons of balls, strikeout batters but still ... unless he makes 27 strickouts in a row he can't make a no hitter alone. So yes its one of the best ''team effort'' you can think of.

I personally LOVE it when an NBA player gets a nice fast break play, they are all alone to just put the ball in the hoop, but then they try to be all COOL and FANCY so they go for a dunk and then they JAM THEMSELVES and the ball goes flying instead of getting 2 pts.  Absolutely AMAZING!!  Freakin showboats

About 12 years ago a certain Frankie Dettori rode 7 horses at the Ascot Festival of Racing. 3 of the races were group races taboot and Mr Dettori achieved the unseen before 7 out of 7 winners. It will not be repeated at such a prestigious meeting again either.

I like it in basketball, when buzzer beaters are taking in place.  And perhaps, the most impressive thing is when you see all the players boasts with camaraderie.  It's great to see how they do teamwork and how they are one in one goal, "Winning".

The best thing about sports is critical thinking that involves a safe and steady planning. Also, self fulfillment of being able to play. Lastly, win or lose, the feeling that you made it there on top!

Good that you mentioned Micheal Jordan. He is in deed a legend in basketball. I will never forget how he did his styles way way back. I hope I learn how to play his game too!
