Safe or Not?
If you have not seen or if you have seen it, last night Armando Galarraga was punked out of a perfect game. To my knowledge there are only 18 perfect games total out there. Too be robbed by an umpire of such an unbelievable feat is wrong.
Should MLB institute a replay rule?

I believe yes they should, but only on occasion such as this where it was a total screw up, the review would have to come from the booth/upstairs people that would review such a thing, kind of like the last 2 mins in football.
But yes, that guy will probably have a burning cross (or neuss in his tree)in his yard by the end of the week!!

3-0 2 outs ... one out from a perfect game, its was not even a close game or where a championship was at stake, there is a non-written rules where when its that ''close'' of a call you just give it, he should have call it out thats it, you don't screw up a game like that just over that.

Baseball does need replay, and this incident should be the last straw. They should replay anything questionable that doesn't concern balls & strikes. They definately need as much replay as possible in the playoffs.
I am not a Tiger's fan but feel so bad for Galarraga. He was one out away from history and it was blown by a bad call from the umpire. It's not like he could have got one if a call in the 6th inning would have been right. It's not like one of his teammates, or even Armando himself, messed up to prevent his perfection in the game. Something that's also sad is that the umpire is apparently one of the better umpires in baseball. So it's not like some complete moron made a bad call that was typical. I wish Bud Selig would overturn that wrong call to give Galarraga a perfect game. It won't be as sweet as it would have been if it happened that night but it would still be great for Galarraga to have it.
