Betting 101
How about if we make a section of betting spreads, moneyline, etc.? I t would be great for new ones and lets help them what they need to ask for us?. And make it for Sticky.

You mean a Forum section for "beginners" so they can learn how to play?

Yeah :) It would help our new members and not so new ones. Not everyone knows about betting options; spreads, handicaps etc. So how about it? :)

That's a VERY good idea! (speaking as a newbie ;) )

also maybe this is a good place to ask;
is there any place where u can bet on MMA with real money the same way you can here, like "the bout ends within 2nd round" "fighter x wins by decision" etc?

I really like that, makes betting on fights much more interesting and really is a make or break for me on this site seeing as I only follow mma and not football, basketball and so on

Just so you know, in wagering vernacular, those sorts of things are called "props". I don't know the slightest thing about MMA, so I can't answer your question, but I can point you in the right direction. When you are researching those "real money" books, look for "props" under whatever MMA links they have. If there are no MMA fights upcoming, look for "props" under boxing--if they have props for boxing, they'll probably have them for MMA as well. There are a ton of real money sportsbooks out there, so I'm sure you'll find one, but be sure to do a little research on their reputation (particulaly when it comes to paying out.)

What is it about the baseball lines that you don't understand? I'll be happy to help, and I'm sure both support and other users would too. Be more specific....
