Steinbrenner vs. Jeter?
I don't know if Hank Steinbrenner is jealous of Derek Jeter's poopularity, his extreme wealth, his celebrity status and beautiful women, or if it's all three, but I just can't understand why he made those stupid comments about the Hall of Famer. Steinbrenner said that he's focused on winning another World Series while others are only concerned with their mansions. Jeter's custom mansion, a 31,000 square foot palace, took just over a year to build. Does building big homes make you less concerned with winning? I hate Derek Jeter, but if there's anyone in the MLB who's passion is beyond reproach, it's Jeter.

"In Xanadu did Kubla Khan a stately pleasure dome decree..." Jeter's mansion is ridiculous! It's the largest house in Tampa. Charles Foster Kane would be proud. Check out a few pictures.

Jeter is overrated anyway.  I don't know why anyone would put any pressure on him.  A-Rod deserves to have way more pressure put on him.
