The Heat

I love seeing them lose, because of what Lebron did when he went there. A few days ago, I would have said that I felt bad for Wade, but not after what I saw the other day. Wade said about the loss that made them cry, that it's right where everyone wants the Heat to be anyway (on the losing side). I expect Lebron James to say the things that he has about how "everyone is against him/them", or how "he enjoys being the bad guy". Lebron is an immature, spoiled brat in my opinion. I had a lot more respect for Wade though. I guess he either let Lebron & Cry Baby er I mean Chris Bosh infect him with their immaturity, or he was like this all along. Either way I feel bad for none of the Heat players (which now includes Wade). I will enjoy seeing them go out in the second round of the playoffs.

The best team in the playoffs to this point has been Dallas, but the Heat are right behind them. I really thought they were going to lose last night especially after West and Allen hit those three's, but LeBron was spectacular and Wade and Bosh played great too. i hate to say it but if they keep this up, they're gunna win it all.

The Heat deserve some credit for pulling it together for the playoffs. They've looked good so far, but they've also had a pretty easy route to get to where they are now. The Sixers had no chance, and the Heat deserve more criticism for not sweeping than Philly does for winning one game. The Celtics were the main nemesis for the Heat this season, and going into the playoffs. However, I think the moves that Danny Ainge made during the regular season did affect the outcome of this series more than anything that the Heat did. They gave away a good defender in the post (Kendrick Perkins), and could have used Nate Robinson when Rondo ended up getting hurt. I think having Perkins down low would have helped more than what they did have down there (his toughness would have been a factor as well). Robinson wouldn't have been able to duplicate what Rondo does, but he would have gave them much more offense than a hurt Rondo did.
Everyone should also remember that there are two more rounds of play, before crowning the "Heatles" the NBA Champions. I honestly think Chicago will at least give Miami a tough series, and Miami will have a lot of trouble winning against whoever comes out of the West (more than likely Dallas).

You're right Ivey they still have a ways to go... I swear I almost cut off my leg just so I would have something to throw at the TV when I saw LeBron take a knee and cry after they clinched against the Celtics. Hey Lebron and Wade, you have both played in the NBA Championship, don't cheese it up for the cameras just because you've reached the Eastern Conference Finals... and if you're gunna cry wait until you get to the locker room, please! Oh by the way has anyone noticed how the Miami Big Three has suddenly transformed into the Miami Big 2?

Ivey I definitely don't "know" that the Heat are gunna win. I mean I'm not putting too much stock in one game, but the Bulls defense and rebounding looks like it's going to be a huge problem for the Heat. The Bulls deifinitely won't shoot that well from the perimeter, but if they can keep the Heat in a half-court game, they absolutely have the advantage.

That was a little shot at the people that all believe the Heat are the easy favorite to win the East. Of course they could end up winning the Eastern Conference, but Game 1 seems like an indication that it's going to be a difficult task (these aren't the Boston Celtics that they are playing).

I'm not sure that it will be over if they lose Game 3, but it is obviously better that they get that one.
I won't feel good about the Bulls chances until the series is actually over lol.
There are two things that I am happy about though, regarding the team's future. The team will have a year of experience to use for next year. Also, the Bulls will have two late first round picks. I know this draft class isn't exactly strong or deep, but I do like that they get to possibly add two players in the first round. They may even use the picks as trade bait to pick up a player that they need (preferrably at shooting guard).
