NBA Playoffs
Lakers and Spurs both lose in the first round, The Bulls and Celtics scraped by. Man this looks like it may be one of the craziest post-seasons in a long time. The Lakers were 5-2 to win it all, but what do you guys think now?

I made a prediction a few weeks before the All-Star game that the Bulls would beat the Thunder in the finals and everyone said I was "reaching." Well maybe I was, but I'm still gunna stick with Rose and Chi-Town and Durant and OKC

Dude, you guys gotta realize the Bulls are phoneys and don't have a chance. Once Rose has a bad series it's over. I had the same feeling you had this year about LeBron and the Cavs last year, befor eit all unraveled. I think it's gunna be Lakers over the Heat.

no way! the Heat are dominating the celtics int his series going up 2-0 early. It will be interesting when it goes back to boston, but if the Heat can get one game in Boston they will win this series. If they can get past the celtics the bulls/hawks will be an easy matchup for them. The only tough challenge they will face if the Heat get past the Celtics is the Lakers, and there is a possiblity they do not even make the finals.

I don't think the Bulls is an easy matchup for the Heat at all. They lost to them four times in the regular season. I know that it's different now that Wade and his girlfriend have had time to gel but still, who's gunna guard Rose? Who's gunna be the inside presence to stand up to Chicago's tough D? Not the marshmallowy soft Bosh. I'm not saying they can't beat Chicago in a best of seven because they definitely can, I just don't think it will be easy. However, if the Bulls can't advance, the Heat will dominate the Hawks.

think about it like this. say D rose is guarded by a combo of bibby, chalmers( who is a solid defender), and maybe a lil bron and wade. He still could drop 35 points but look at lebron and wade guarding the wings? umm no defense needed(all energy to run up and down!)
The heat are weak against a good low scorign post(not anyone to defend one), but boozer is better at the faceup game and bosh can guard boozer easily.
As for Noah he is not an offensive factor besides rebounds... same as Joel those two will be crazy to watch fight for the boards!
I just dont see hwo the bulls have enough firepower to keep up with heat, and the heats halfcourt D is very good!

I don't think LeBron will guard Rose that much, i think they'll need his size and perimeter defense to lock down Luol Deng. Deng is 6'9" and although he's not averaging a ton of points, his size still creates matchup problems.Ii think Wade will have to try and slow him down, but i'm not sure that will work. Rose scored 34, 26 and 27 against Miami in the regular season.

Well my Lakers over the Heat prediction was shot to hell, now I'm thinking Mavericks over the Bulls. I don't know why I'm switching to the Bulls, I don't dislike leBron or the Heat like all you other haters. It was kind of ridiculous how LeBron took a knee and cried after the game. It's like LeBron, you still need to win two more series bro.
I've been hating on the Bulls all season, but now I don't know. I kind of feel like Deng is gunna slow down LeBron enough to make the difference. he always plays tough D against LeBron.

I disagree with this.  You can say that this Bulls team is in uncharted waters, because they have yet to be in this position in the playoffs, but they are far from "phoneys that don't have a chance".  They are a lot younger & faster than the Celtics that the Heat put away in the second round.  They present some interesting match up problems for the Heat.  Does this mean that I think the Bulls will win?  No, not necessarily, but I think they will give the Heat a tough series while having a realistic chance to still win it.
