Spain vs. USA
Tickets went on sell today for the Spain/USA match-up in the summer at Foxborough Stadium in Boston. Damn!!! I'm so excited, if I didn't live 3,000 miles away I'd have to go catch that match. I'm gunna make a bold prediction and say USA wins 2-1... I just love all these international friendly's. You have your favorite players spread out across the world but then fellow countrymen get together all the time to compete under their nations banner... beautiful!

This game is just about as exciting as the NFL having games in Europe with to sub .500 teams. But if the NFL lockout stays I guess I can try and watch the first form of Football.

Well considering there are about 200 countries that have soccer teams and these two are both in the top 25, I really don't understand your sub .500 football in Europe comparison. I mean Spain is the reigning World Cup champs and soccer is alot more popular in the US than football is in Europe.

I like the NFL 1,000 times more than I like soccer, but that doesn't mean that this isn't a good event to watch during the off season. Even if there is a season next year, which looks probable, this game takes place before the NFL season starts. You don't have to pick one or the other. Do yourself a favor and watch both of them!
