Eagles vs. Falcons Thread
The Packers/Saints was the NFC power matchup of week one. The week 2 spotlight shines brightly on the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles are 3-point favorites in Mike Vick's homecoming. The Falcons are coming off of a tough loss in Chicago where they were favorites. The Eagles, on the other hand, dominated the Rams and showed how explosive they were on offense. Follow the action here at InsideNation and you could win $5,000

I think the Falcons are gunna lose this one. They're a solid team but not as good as what every one thought they would be. Still even after an 0-2 start they can still make the playoffs, especially if the saints start 0-2. Nobody in their division won a game last week so it's still not a must win game for the Falcons.

The Falcons came back and dodged that 0-2 start that would have really made the rest of the season an up hill battle. that Vick injury really showed how much the Eagle's season depends on his health. That concussion could keep him out next week, especially with the NFL's stance on keeping players sidelined after bad head injuries. It will be interesting to see how the Eagle's can perform without Vick.

I think that they may have been okay if Young was available.

Yeah, they really need Young. Vick has only finished 1 of the first 3 games

I can't believe that both of these teams are 1-2. That's pretty crazy. They have both had reasonably tough openings to the season, the Falcons slightly more so, but if they're expected to content for the NFC title those are games they need to win. Still a long season though.
