Updated Super Bowl Odds
Futures odds on the Super Bowl rise and fall like the Dow Jones. Odds were constant throughout the offseason, but when the lockout ended and the free agency boom ensued odds inevitably changed. Now that one week is in the books odds have changed again. Here are the odds as of 9/14:
Patriots- 4.5:1
Packers- 5.75:1
Eagles- 7.25:1
Chargers- 10:1
Ravens- 10:1
Texans- 15:1
Saints- 15.5:1
Jets- 15.5:1
Steelers- 18:1
Falcons- 27:1
It will be interesting to see how these odds continue to change throughout the year. Don't miss out on any of the action, make sure you get all of your picks in and compete to win our $5,000 Jackpot!

I've gotta say that the Packers look like the best team in the NFL. The Saints are probably second best but they've already lost to Green Bay.

The Lions are ranked 4th in the Power Rankings on ESPN so I would imagine they have cracked the top 10 for Super Bowl odds now. But this was dated September 14th. I think the Lions are good and on the right track but I don't think they're in the upper echelon yet. We'll see what happens when they play Green Bay and Chicago.

The odds aren't too different from what they were at the end of week one. The biggest differences being the Falcons who have fallen amidst a 1-2 start and the Lions who now round out the top 10 with one of the NFL's 3 perfect records. Here's what the odds look like as of 9/29.

<span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 20px; background-color: #ffffff;">Green Bay Packers 4.20 to 1
New England Patriots 5.25 to 1
New Orleans Saints 11 to 1
San Diego Chargers 11 to 1
Baltimore Ravens 13 to 1
Houston Texans 15 to 1
Philadelphia Eagles 15 to 1
New York Jets 16 to 1
Pittsburgh Steelers 17 to 1
Detroit Lions 18 to 1</span>

Yeah, I don't think the odds of them winning it all are any good.  They have had a good start & everyone is really high on them.  That's the only reason I said anything.  Wouldn't it be crazy if they did win though?

I think the Lions have a good chance to win a game in the playoffs. I don't think they'll win the division but they matched up really well against Green Bay last year and with a healthy Stafford it's not a runaway for the Pack to win the division

They gotta be in the top 5 now. There seem to be a realtively high number of mediocre teams this year. Aside from Green Bay, New England and New Orleans I don't know who has a realistic chance to go all the way. i'd take those 3 teams over the field.

They're still not in the top 5.

Packers-3.45 to 1
Patriots-4.4 to 1
Saints-8.5 to 1
Ravens-9.5 to 1
Chargers-10.5 to 1

Then it's the Lions at 13 to 1.
The Chargers have a bye this week but all the other favorites are in action. make your picks and cash in $5,000 in our Pro Football Frenzy.

Top two are probably the same but then I'd be excited to see where everyone else falls in. San Fran's gotta be making a charge. Still green Bay really looks head and shoulders above the rest. Untill I see a chink in Aaron's impenetrable armor, I'm going with the Pack. I think any thing less than a repeat will be viewed as a failure by most cheeseheads.

Nice to see San Francisco back again.  Too bad their head coach is an a-hole.

That Harbaugh/Schwartz encounter was hilarious. Both guys in the wrong but I feel like Schwartz had a great chance to be the bigger man and show his young team how to take a loss. It's the first loss of the season and you have to set the example of how to keep your cool when opponents are acting like morons.
