General Rules

The GLADIATOR CHALLENGE, brought to you by InsideNation, is subject to the terms and conditions below. No purchase is necessary to participate or win any prizes. Void where prohibited. The odds of winning any prize depend, in part, on the number of entrants.

How It Works

Every day ONE event will be posted as "Today's Event". All members will have the same event to pick. Each member will pick one "winner" for the event. If picked correctly, the member's winning streak will advance by one. If picked incorrectly, the members winning streak will be reset to zero. If the member does not make a pick, their streak will stay intact, provided they are not inactive for more than 7 days in a row. If inactive for 7 days in a row, the member's winning streak will be reset to zero.

The Gladiator Challenge is an ongoing challenge with an end-date of December 31st, 2007. Until then, members will attempt to build winning streaks to climb the Prize Ladder (see below) to win prizes of Cash Value and/or Nibs.

How To Register

All InsideNation.com members are eligible to participate in the Gladiator Challenge. In order to register, simply make at least ONE pick. Once the game is complete and results are posted, you will see yourself on the Gladiator Leaderboard

Prize Ladder

The goal of winning consecutive games and building a winning streak will reward players with Prizes at different levels of the Prize Ladder. The prizes given away at each level may change at anytime, with or without notice.

Current Prize Ladder

4 Wins in a Row --> 250 Nib Bonus

6 Wins in a Row --> 500 Nib Bonus

9 Wins in a Row --> 3,000 Nib Bonus PLUS Polo Shirt

13 Wins in a Row --> 10,000 Nib Bonus PLUS $100 Cash!

21 Wins in a Row --> $10,000 Cash!!!

Conditions of Participation

In order to participate, you must have only ONE InsideNation.com account. If we have any evidence that leads us to believe you have multiple accounts in an effort to increase your odds of winning, any participation will become instantly null and void.

Likewise, in order to win ANY prize, you must enter your accurate personal information (name, address, phone number) in your InsideNation account. We will verify this information before awarding any prize. This is to protect the integrity of our Challenges.

Internet

Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the game process. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.

Please Note

• The Grand Prize ($10,000 Cash) will be awarded once for this Challenge. Any subsequent members winning 21 games in a row will receive a cash payment of $1,000.


• Currently, all cash prizes will be paid via corporate cheque and mailed via standard global mail. We will likely add more payout methods in the near future.


• In the event of a tie between members, any prize will be split evenly between the two members. If the prize cannot be split, a random drawing will be held to determine the prize winner.


• All members are limited to winning 2 shirts and two hats per calendar year between all Challenges on InsideNation.


• You must verify that you are at least 18 year old to be eligible for any prize.
